In June 2026, Olight Technology Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Olight Technology'), which has been deeply involved in the portable lighting sector for 19 years, officially submitted its GEM IPO prospectus, aiming to raise 1.225 billion yuan.

Among the fundraising projects, 289 million yuan will be used for the construction of a global R&D headquarters, with one of the core initiatives being the expansion of the optical laboratory and materials R&D center.

The prospectus shows that although Olight Technology has accumulated over 1,200 patents, covering areas such as magnetic fast charging, intelligent optics, and lightweight specialty materials, its sales expenses have consistently been several times higher than its R&D investment, leaving room for catching up in cutting-edge technologies like optics and intelligent control. The construction of the R&D headquarters aims to strengthen the underlying technological capabilities in the optical field by introducing advanced R&D and testing equipment and high-caliber talent.

From an industrial layout perspective, Olight Technology has planned the construction of its group headquarters and R&D production base in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, covering a total area of approximately 92,000 square meters. The national-level optical laboratory is listed as one of the core construction components, with the project expected to generate annual output exceeding 6 billion yuan upon completion.

Additionally, 559 million yuan will be invested in an intelligent mobile lighting production base to enhance the delivery efficiency of self-developed products and reduce reliance on external contract manufacturing; 227 million yuan will be allocated for the construction of a global brand promotion and offline experience base to diversify platform concentration risks, as over half of the current revenue comes from Amazon channels; and 150 million yuan will supplement working capital to address inventory and exchange rate pressures arising from cross-border stocking.
