Recently, Suzhou Jitian Xingzhou Space Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jitian Xingzhou"), a prominent developer and manufacturer specializing in space-grade optical payloads, successfully closed a Series B funding round worth hundreds of millions of yuan. This investment round saw the participation of multiple institutions, including Su Gaoxin Financial Holdings, Heji Capital, and Zhuopu Capital. The capital infusion will be directed towards the R&D of next-generation ultra-high-resolution optical payloads and star trackers, as well as the expansion of intelligent manufacturing production lines.

As the most critical component of remote sensing satellites, optical payloads boast the highest technical barriers and command the greatest value, typically accounting for over 50% of the total satellite cost. Since its inception five years ago, Jitian Xingzhou has concentrated its efforts on this niche, delivering a cumulative total of 55 optical payloads and successfully launching 30 into orbit, achieving a perfect 100% success rate. It stands as China's leading commercial enterprise with the most comprehensive range of space-grade optical payloads, the highest number of deliveries, and the most in-orbit units. Leveraging its batch delivery capabilities, the company has achieved a compound annual revenue growth rate exceeding 85% over the past four years and reached overall break-even in 2025.

At the product level, the company has developed three major series: Earth observation, aerial observation, and precision optical devices. Its Earth observation products encompass a full spectrum of optical cameras, ranging from 0.3m to 200m resolution. The new-generation off-track 0.5-meter high-resolution optical cameras are poised for bulk delivery. Furthermore, the company has introduced a full-scenario matrix, including a coaxial three-mirror high-performance version, an off-axis three-mirror wide-format version (with a 50km swath width), and a lightweight version (weighing 60kg).

Regarding its second growth curve, aerial observation optical payloads, exemplified by star trackers, have demonstrated significant growth. The company has acquired a stake in Ruiqi Deep Space Technology, a firm specializing in intelligent remote sensing data, which is on the verge of securing hundreds of millions of yuan in financing. It plans to deploy 426 global intelligent remote sensing meta-constellations by 2031. With the intensive deployment of domestic low-Earth orbit constellations, the demand for upstream core optical payload components is accelerating.
