Wuling Takes the Lead with 68,862 Units
Wuling sold 68,862 units in August, featuring three main models:
BinGuo Pro: 14,695 units, now Wuling's best-selling model.
HongGuang MINIEV: 11,033 units. This model has seen a significant impact from the reduction in subsidies and purchase taxes this year, having previously sold between 30,000 and 40,000 units.
Huajing S: 7,306 units. The collaboration with Huawei has enabled Wuling to venture into a new market segment previously untapped by the brand.

MG Motor Records 17,843 Units
MG Motor sold 17,843 units in August, a remarkable figure for passenger cars in the domestic market.
MG4: 13,089 units, accounting for 73% of MG's total sales.
MG 4X: 4,028 units.
MG5: Only 515 units.
Attention now turns to the MG 07, which has already amassed 40,000 firm orders.

Roewe Registers 4,398 Units
Roewe sold 4,398 units in August. Surprised?
Roewe i6: 1,713 units, Roewe D6: 1,500 units, Roewe M7 DMH: 701 units.
Roewe requires a standout model to stage a comeback.

Shangjie Achieves 7,888 Units
Shangjie sold 7,888 units in August, including Shangjie Z7: 4,580 units, Shangjie Z7T: 1,691 units, and Shangjie H5: 1,617 units. Shangjie has now surpassed Roewe. Is this result satisfactory to all? Certainly, observing the trend, Shangjie Z7T and Shangjie Z7 have experienced a slight decline.

IM Records 6,154 Units
IM sold 6,154 units in August, with a cumulative total of 46,322 units from January to August, marking a month-on-month increase of 4.3%.
IM LS6: 3,454 units, IM L6: 1,304 units, IM LS8: 668 units.
The IM LS8 had strong momentum earlier this year but was quickly overshadowed.

Summary: SAIC's independent brands, which have previously excelled overseas, now face the challenge of strengthening their domestic market presence. Wuling focuses on volume to drive cash flow, MG leverages exports, while Shangjie and IM aim to establish themselves as premium brands.
