On May 6, Guangxi province hosted a grand commencement and completion ceremony for major projects in the second quarter of 2025, marking the official initiation of the China-ASEAN AI Innovation Cooperation Center (hereinafter referred to as "Nanning A Center"). The project encompasses pivotal components such as a trusted data zone and an AI academy, augmented by advanced facilities like an international communications hub and a data cross-border service center. Its vision is to establish a digital economy hub focused on ASEAN, fostering a collaborative model that involves "R&D in the Yangtze River Delta, transformation in Nanning, and market expansion in ASEAN." This endeavor aims to expedite the cross-border application of AI technology, fostering deeper integration and innovation within the region.
