According to QuickTech on November 3, WeChat PC has released a beta version 4.0 with the latest version number being 4.0.0.22. This version does not require closed beta access and is publicly available for testing.

WeChat PC 4.0 supports both Windows and macOS, and it can currently be downloaded and experienced from the official WeChat website.

The new WeChat PC 4.0 version can coexist with older versions without overwriting the installation. Upon entering version 4.0, users will be prompted to import their original chat history.

In terms of design, version 4.0 adopts a brand-new UI style with a more three-dimensional interface and rounded corners instead of right angles.

Moreover, version 4.0 finally includes a dark mode that can be adjusted based on the system settings, a feature previously only available on Mac.

When dark mode is selected, the entire interface adapts well with high completion, and there are no abrupt elements.

Additionally, under WeChat's general settings, a new "Font Size" option has been added, allowing users to change the font size of the WeChat interface by dragging.

However, the most anticipated feature of posting on Moments is still not supported, and red packets and transfers in chats cannot be claimed at this time.
