These vehicles not only embody automakers' latest innovations and design philosophies but are also expected to offer consumers a novel travel experience, making them highly anticipated. Below, AutoDoor.com delves into the strengths of these remarkable models.
The GAC Trumpchi Envision M8 Qiankun, hailed as the "MPV King of the New Energy Sector," was recently launched. This vehicle marks the first collaboration between GAC Trumpchi and Huawei under their joint "innovation" initiative. The new car retains the M8's elegant and steady design while refining details. The new grille style and chrome accents add a touch of luxury to the overall appearance. The Envision M8 Qiankun's dimensions are similar to the current model, ensuring ample interior space. Its most notable feature is its intelligent configuration, equipped with Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving System and HarmonyOS Intelligent Cockpit, achieving significant advancements in autonomous driving and in-car interactivity.
The Qiankun Intelligent Driving System leverages a combination of 192-line LiDAR and high-precision 4D millimeter-wave radar, optimizing driving decisions through end-to-end neural network algorithms. This enables full-scenario autonomous driving, from parking space to parking space, and supports complex scenarios such as ETC passages and airport valet parking. Under the hood, the car boasts a 2.0T hybrid-dedicated engine paired with a 2-speed DHT transmission. The engine delivers a maximum power of 140kW, while the motor offers 160kW. With a CLTC pure electric range of 248km and a comprehensive range exceeding 1200km, it balances performance and energy efficiency. Some speculate that the Envision M8 Qiankun's price could fall between 300,000 and 400,000 yuan. If priced below 350,000 yuan, its cost-effectiveness will be prominent, potentially revolutionizing the market within its price bracket.
Chery has officially announced that the Jietu Shanhai T1 4WD Version will debut at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, with a planned official launch in May. Positioned as a road-traveling off-road SUV, the new car maintains the family's "square box" rugged design while integrating NEV technology, focusing on full-scenario 4WD capability and long-range hybrid performance. It is powered by Chery Kunpeng's 1.5TD hybrid-dedicated engine and a plug-in hybrid powertrain comprising three motors, delivering a combined power of 435kW and peak torque of 840N·m for robust performance. Additionally, it balances long range and low fuel consumption to meet diverse urban and off-road travel needs.
The Jietu Shanhai T1 4WD Version is equipped with a CATL 43.2kWh battery, offering a CLTC pure electric range of up to 220km. Recently, spy shots of a Denza sports car emerged online. Originally intended as the mass-production version of the Equation Leopard Super 9, it has now been classified under Denza. Sources indicate that the car will initially launch a hardtop version, followed by a convertible, with a Shanghai Auto Show debut expected. From the spy shots, this four-seater sports car boasts a compact body, fitting snugly on a flatbed truck. It features a double-door design, low and dynamic body lines, and large-size wheel hubs paired with performance tires for agile handling. After years of absence, the Chery QQ is set to make a comeback. Chery has officially released images of the QQ concept car, announcing its Shanghai Auto Show debut. The concept car differs markedly from the Chery QQ Dome showcased by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and previous Chery QQ me series models, exhibiting a stronger sci-fi aesthetic. It features a closed front face design, through-type LED light strip, and split headlight cluster. The front bumper is reinforced with a trapezoidal outline, enhancing the sense of hierarchy. The "NEW QQ" logo adorns the bonnet center, maintaining rounded lines while presenting a more sci-fi style. The floating roof, hidden door handles, and two-tone rearview mirrors further highlight its NEV attributes, with the classic "QQ" emblem retained on the C-pillar. With dimensions of 3720mmX1700mmX1599mm and a wheelbase of 2520mm, it significantly improves space practicality compared to the initial model (2340mm).
Regarding range, intelligent configuration, price, and other details, the official has yet to release specific information. The current micro-electric vehicle market exhibits a "polarization," with Wuling Hongguang MINI EV dominating the low-end market at around 30,000 yuan, while brands like BYD and Geely deploy intelligent models in the 50,000-100,000 yuan range. If the All-New Chery QQ can offer leading configurations within its class at a competitive price, its market competitiveness will be significantly bolstered.
MG, a subsidiary of SAIC, recently announced plans to launch eight new cars within two years. The first, the square box hardcore SUV - MG CyberX, will be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show. The official states that this will mark a groundbreaking styling innovation in MG's history. Built on the all-new E3 architecture, it is expected to adopt CTB body-battery integration design and be equipped with semi-solid-state batteries.
From the official teaser images, although the MG CyberX adheres to a "square box" styling framework, its softened lines break the angular feel of traditional hardcore SUVs. The car features sturdy through-type light strips and illuminated logos at the front and rear, with the rear responding with two short light strips to create a unique light and shadow hierarchy. In terms of intelligence, it will be equipped with the Horizon J6 high-computing power chip and apply the Momenta end-to-end large model.
The MG CyberX embodies the core concept of "urban adventure toy," attracting consumers aged 25-35 through its youthful design and technological configuration. It fills a gap in MG's hardcore SUV market. (Images sourced from the internet, please remove if infringing upon rights)
