Recent reports indicate that Dreame Technology, leveraging its wholly-owned subsidiary 'Dreame Innovation Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.,' has made a substantial one-time investment of 4 billion yuan to establish two new companies in Suzhou: 'Dreame Chichen Technology' and 'Dreame Yaochen Technology.' Both firms are headed by Cao Jianguo as their legal representative, each boasting a registered capital of 2 billion yuan. This move sets a new benchmark for single investments within China's domestic consumer robot industry.
The operational scope of these two new ventures is predominantly centered on the "research and development of intelligent robots, technical services, technology transfer, and technology promotion." Notably, for the first time, their business registrations encompass "socioeconomic consulting services and information consulting services," hinting at a future where, beyond hardware sales, they will also export industry standards and comprehensive solutions.
According to business registration details, both companies are entirely owned by Dreame Innovation Technology, signaling that identical funds are being channeled into two distinct yet parallel product lines.
While Dreame Technology has yet to unveil its detailed product roadmap to the public, insiders have disclosed that the new entities will inherit a staggering 6,379 global patents amassed by the group in domains such as high-speed motors, sensors, and AI robotic arms. These patents will underpin a universal robot platform tailored for the "human-home-vehicle" full-scenario ecosystem, supporting multiple consumer touchpoints including future mobility, household services, and smart manufacturing.
In response to inquiries about the vision of a "trillion-dollar ecosystem" on social media, company founder Yu Hao revealed that Dreame has sustained a year-on-year revenue doubling for six consecutive years. Revenue for the first half of 2025 has already eclipsed that of the entire year of 2024, with overseas revenue contributing 65%. It is projected that the company's full-year revenue for 2025 will surpass 40 billion yuan, providing a robust cash flow buffer for extensive R&D investments. The new entities are poised to expedite technology deployment by capitalizing on the existing supply chain and channel networks.
Industry experts opine that the scale of the 4 billion yuan registered capital is exceedingly rare in the consumer robot sector. The simultaneous establishment of two entities may suggest that Dreame is set to develop two distinct product lines: "household service robots" and "light industrial collaborative robots." This strategic approach aims to mitigate intra-industry competition, enhance R&D efficiency, and create flexible avenues for subsequent external financing.
