Drawing upon the new energy vehicle sales figures disclosed by auto companies and the estimated wholesale sales of certain new energy passenger vehicles provided by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), here is a compilation of new energy vehicle sales for August:

Note: The new energy passenger vehicle sales data for Tesla China, Dongfeng Nissan, GAC Toyota, Spotlight Automotive, smart Automobile, BMW Brilliance, Jiangling New Energy, and JAC Motors are sourced from the CPCA (wholesale sales, encompassing estimated figures). Data for other companies are derived from corporate announcements. This table presents only partial sales data and does not represent the final ranking.

As per the announcement made by Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. today, the company's sales of new energy vehicles (inclusive of new energy commercial vehicles) in August reached 88,947 units, marking an 11.2% uptick from the 80,006 units sold in July. According to the CPCA's estimation, Changan Automobile's wholesale sales of new energy passenger vehicles in August stood at approximately 75,925 units.

Based on the data released by Seres Group today, its new energy vehicle sales in August totaled 43,262 units, reflecting a 3.0% decline from the 44,581 units sold in July. Among these, 'Seres Automobile' accounted for 41,040 units in August.

According to CPCA data, Tesla China's globally produced pure electric vehicles achieved sales of 83,192 units in August, representing a 22.5% surge from the 67,886 units sold in July.
