On the evening of June 17, the legal department of GAC AION issued a statement addressing false and malicious slanderous information circulating online regarding employee shareholding in the company. In response, the company promptly issued a statement and reported the matter to the police.

The statement highlighted that in recent days, numerous online accounts across various social media platforms, including Weibo, Toutiao, Douyin, WeChat official accounts, Xiaohongshu, and a certain elite club forum, have fabricated, published, and disseminated false information. This has significantly impacted the healthy and orderly production and operation of both GAC Group and GAC AION.

The legal department of GAC AION emphasized that, in response to this malicious rumor-mongering, they will resolutely employ legal means to pursue the legal responsibility of the rumor mongers and spreaders in accordance with the law, thereby safeguarding the company's legitimate rights and interests.

Prior to the legal department's statement, GAC AION had issued a solemn statement the previous night, asserting that such remarks were completely baseless and purely malicious rumors.

GAC AION affirmed that, as a core independent brand under GAC, its development has received full support from GAC Group, and its production and operation are currently proceeding normally.
