On October 8, domestic media outlet Kuaikeji reported that O-film Tech has been selected as the primary optical component supplier for Huawei's flagship Pura 90 Pro and Pro Max models. The company will exclusively provide the main cameras and 200MP periscope telephoto modules for both devices.

Additionally, O-film Tech is also responsible for supplying the 'external' telephoto imaging system for the Pura 90 Pro Max. To ensure top-notch quality, the company has invested in specialized equipment and carried out new rounds of testing and process validation.

Industry insiders have disclosed that the module supplied by O-film Tech boasts exceptional yield rates. Its manufacturing complexity and added product value are considered to be at the forefront of the industry.

This development further solidifies O-film Tech's position as a key supplier in the high-end flagship smartphone optical module market. The company now offers a comprehensive supply chain, ranging from conventional main cameras to periscope telephoto lenses and external extended lenses.

In terms of hardware specifications, the Pura 90 Pro Max is equipped with the industry's first 200MP RYYB periscope telephoto sensor. This sensor features a large 1/1.28-inch format, an F2.6 aperture, OIS optical image stabilization, and supports telephoto macro photography. Huawei claims that its light intake capability is five times that of the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The device also introduces a triple-layer super-condensing prism, which reduces the module's length by 20% and achieves CIPA 7.0-level stabilization.

The main camera of the Pura 90 Pro Max features a 50MP 1/1.28-inch LOFIC sensor and supports an F1.4-F4.0 10-stop variable aperture.

The Pura 90 Pro, on the other hand, combines a 50MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto macro lens, and a 12.5MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

O-film Tech was once a significant player in Apple's supply chain. In the first half of 2026, the company reported an operating revenue of RMB 7.841 billion, making strides in three major business areas: smartphones, smart vehicles, and emerging fields.
