During the May Day holiday, automakers unveiled their April sales figures in succession. As of publication, 14 out of 16 automotive groups featured in the "Xauto Report" have released their sales data, with some automakers disclosing sales figures for specific brands only. The detailed release scenario is as follows:

Sales of BYD, Geely, Chery, and Great Wall automotive groups remained relatively stable compared to the previous month. Among them, BYD and Chery experienced a slight decline in sales, while Geely and Great Wall witnessed a minor increase. However, the overall ranking and market structure remained unchanged. BYD continued to lead with approximately 370,000 vehicles sold in April, followed by Geely and Chery at the 200,000-unit mark, and Great Wall at the 100,000-unit level. In terms of new energy vehicle (NEV) sales, Geely Automotive Group accounted for 53.6%, while Chery and Great Wall accounted for 30.5% and 28.8%, respectively.
